I wish it would spread like measles at a summer camp! I think I told you I live in a conservative Republican town. Actually I know that during WWII it was a German bund town until that was broken up. It reformed but recently is heading back in the same direction because we are on Long Island where you are either rich or poor. This is the first time in thirty years we have a Democrat in office but the GOP ran everything into the ground and we have to pay again now to rebuild all that was never built or repaired under the crooks. My town has gone mostly blue collar now, we have many firemen, cops, EMTs, no more doctors, lawyers, etc., so they are not interested in any fights. They want law and order and want to hang onto any gains that they've made. Life goes in cycles and we are in a down cycle now. When they wake up and realize their kids aren't going to college, they'll want better, but not now. Now they are glad for what they have. Several of my neighbors died 9/11. Those widows and children are moving out because they now have the money to do so, and many want to live closer to family. All the activists are gone.
